We do not have a room block and encourage you to stay where you feel most comfortable. Airbnb, VRBO, and other short-term rentals can be a good option if traveling with a larger group.
The hotels listed below are located in Aspen, however Snowmass is a great alternative option and typically has relatively cheaper accommodations. Free local shuttles run conveniently between Aspen and Snowmass. We recommend planning transportation ahead of time with this option.

Aspen sits at about 8,000 feet, so we recommend...
Take it easy the first day
Drink lots of water
Avoid excessive alcohol and caffeine on your first night
Consider bringing electrolytes or altitude tablets
Rest, hydrate, and moisturize - dry mountain air is no joke!
If you feel light-headed or headachy, it's normal. Oxygen bars around town can help.
Aspen is warm during the summer months. A typical day in early August is mid-70s during the daytime and low-60s at night. We recommend packing a light wrap or jacket for the evenings.
